Job Description

Main Scope

  • Responsible for ensuring consistency in functionality, safety and comfort for all facilities inclusive of office spaces, nursing homes, day centres as well as clinics.
  • Managing facilities sustainability & maintenance, equipment maintenance as well as project management for new premises.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall services provided and ensuring highest level of efficiency of facilities by performing repairs or contracting maintenance services as needed.
  • Oversee and schedule for preventive maintenance to mitigate risks and optimizing the lifelong cost of equipment.
  • Budget and plan for purchasing services and facilities as needed for new projects and maintenance.
  • Propose and schedule a maintenance plan to ensure that facilities are in good order.
  • Maintain and ensure high customer satisfaction level and peace of mind for patients and public.
  • Review, propose and plan for energy efficiency usage and reduction of overall waste in facilities.
  • Manage and oversee projects of new premises, ensuring safety standards and upkeep of regulatory or compliance standards for new and current facilities.
  • Review and optimize space available to meet the space requirements and facilitate movements. Improving the comfort and convenience of space such as parking, wayfinding and climate change for patients and visitors.
  • Monitor the facility upkeep, guarantee on the safety and quality, prepare and present report on quality of facilities.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, Building & Projects or Facility management discipline.
  • Open-minded and multi-disciplined with working experiences in healthcare, nursing home or relevant is preferred.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to prepare and present to management team.
  • Continuously improving and well-read about the industry responsible for projects assigned.
  • Project management skills, Negotiation skills and experienced in managing and leading teams.
  • Ability to maintain good relationship with vendors.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
