Job Description
As a Community Care Programmes Intern , you will support programmes that enhance the well-being of seniors through resident engagement, companionship, programme coordination and community initiatives. Depending on operational needs, you may also support volunteer engagement and end-of-life companionship programmes.
No prior healthcare experience is required. Training and mentorship will be provided.
Key Responsibilities

Support the planning and execution of resident programmes, activities and community events.

Engage and provide companionship to seniors through meaningful interactions and activities.

Assist with programme logistics, volunteer coordination and administrative support.

Work with multidisciplinary teams to enhance residents' well-being and experience.

Observe residents' well-being and escalate concerns to staff when appropriate.

Maintain confidentiality and comply with organisational policies and volunteer guidelines.

Qualification

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Allied Health, Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Healthcare Management, Community Services or other related disciplines.

Passionate about serving seniors and the community.

Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

Compassionate, proactive and a collaborative team player.
