Job Description

Through our Active Ageing Centres, we engage the seniors within the clusters and support them by reaching out to understand their needs, curating programmes that cater to the needs of active seniors, and befriending isolated and vulnerable seniors.

As a Senior Associate, Volunteer & Partnership, you will support the Senior Manager in executing the volunteer & partnership engagement strategy and annual work plans for the Active Ageing Centre.

You will need to:

  • Support the annual volunteer engagement goals and targets through the implementation of volunteer recruitment and engagement initiatives
  • Engage and maintain a collegial networking relationship with local grassroots’ organisations, corporations, health and educational institutions to develop collaborative volunteer project
  • Assist in the management of Volunteer Database for the AACs (including reports)
  • Train and provide support to internal stakeholders on the use of the Volunteer Database
  • Track volunteer engagements across centres, monitor and evaluate feedback for further improvements
  • Maintain a high standard of integrity, corporate governance and timely management and KPI reporting
  • Support in the development of the volunteer playbook - ensure training, mentoring/coaching schemes are in place to support and empower volunteers (both individual and corporate)
  • Contribute to the strategies and plans for the recruitment, retention and recognition of volunteers
  • Organise formal or informal recognition, reward programmes, and appreciation activities and events for the volunteers
  • Work with the Corporate Communications team on highlighting volunteer contributions via website, social media platforms, and/or newsletters

Qualification

You should:

  • Preferably have a Diploma in Mass Communication or Marketing
  • Possess 2-3 working experience in customer service, volunteer management or community support
  • Have an interest/passion for working with seniors and people from diverse backgrounds
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be proficient in Google Suite Applications
  • Display a positive attitude and willingness to learn
