Job Description

Our goal is to make our seniors’ lives more fulfilling. That is why our community and volunteer activities are at the heart of what we do.. You will manage an Active Ageing Centre/s (AAC) within a sub-region as Assistant Centre Manager. Centre Managers may be expected to manage a few AAC within a sub-region. You will also ensure smooth operations of the AAC and work closely with key stakeholders to implement initiatives to inspire, energise and celebrate joyful living for our seniors.

You will need to

  • Oversee daily operations and administrative matters
  • Ensure timely evaluation and accurate reporting of centre’s outcomes to the management and funder 
  • Support and guide team members through formal learning, on-the-job learning and mentorships
  • Plan and lead community outreach activities/programmes to promote AAC’s programmes
  • Build partnerships within the Regional Health System, with Community Partners and Volunteers (including Grassroots), among others
  • Empower and develop active seniors to serve other vulnerable seniors in the community

Qualification

You should:

  • Hold a Masters or Degree in Business Management / Psychology / Gerontology or other relevant fields (Diploma holders with relevant working experience will be considered)
  • Thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment
  • Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Be proficient in Google Suite Applications
