Job Description
Our Care Model advocates for Person Centred Care for seniors living in the Nursing Home by transforming care environments to foster genuine human connection and resident empowerment. We believe that participation in meaningful activities, specifically tailored to their abilities, can enhance their quality of life and foster engagement. As a Programmes Executive in the Nursing Home, you play an important role in curating and implementing structured, person centred activities that address the physical, social, cognitive and emotional needs of the residents, enabling them to live life to the fullest in the Home.
You will need to:
- Work closely with occupational therapist programme lead to curate, design and plan meaningful activities tailored to the residents' needs and abilities
- Facilitate activity engagement and participation with the residents
- Collaborate with care partners to integrate meaningful engagement into residents' daily routines
- Create activity guides and resource kits to empower the care team to facilitate activity engagement
- Develop a comprehensive calendar of programmes encompassing cognitive stimulation, physical activities, reminiscence activities, social recreational activities and intergenerational initiatives
- Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness with the Centre Director
- Implement programme adjustments based on feedback and observed outcomes

Secondary Responsibilities
- Support engagement with community groups, volunteers, schools, and corporate partners to enhance programme delivery
- Assist in coordination of volunteer recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and appreciation efforts
- Maintain basic records of volunteer participation and partnership activities
- Support representation of the organisation at selected community or partner-supported events when require
Qualification
You should:

- Have a Diploma in healthcare related disciplines
- Have strong passion to work with seniors in the Nursing Home
- Collaborate effectively in multi disciplinary team
- Have strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident in implementing group activities for seniors
- Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently
It would be great if you:
- Have worked in elder care settings
- Can speak local dialects
Other Information
The employee may be required to work on some weekends and weekday evenings when there are programmes or events during those times.
