Job Description

As a Healthcare Associate, you will be responsible for attending to residents' needs in their activities of daily living. Under the supervision of trained nursing professionals, you will assist in delivering basic resident care procedures in accordance with established protocols, care standards, and best practices.
You will need to:
- Perform basic physiological monitoring for stable residents (i.e. vital signs, pain assessment)
- Prepare nutritional supplements and assist with oral and tube feeding for the residents
- Assist in the serving of pre-packed medications to residents
- Support residents with activities of daily living to ensure their safety and comfort (e.g. personal hygiene, assisted mobility, toileting needs)
- Apply and monitor the use of pressure-relieving devices and physical restraints under appropriate supervision
- Assist in maintaining skin integrity and carry out simple wound dressing procedures
- Perform and report blood glucose monitoring and point-of-care testing results to designated nurse (RN)
- Carry out safe lifting and transferring of residents
- Assist residents with implementation of care plans, including escorting residents and facilitating social activities
- Support nurses in medical emergency or crisis situations

Qualification
You should:
- Have at least a GCE N Level certificate (for local candidates) or tertiary education in any field (for non-local candidates)
- Be proficient in speaking English
- Have good interpersonal skills
- Have passion for community services
- Be service-oriented
It would be great if you:
- Have 3-6 months Basic Nurse Aide Certificate from your home country (for non-local candidates)
