Job Description

As the Manager, Programmes & Services, you will play a critical non-clinical leadership role reporting to the Center Director. You will oversee essential support functions that empower our frontline care staff and meet the holistic care needs of our residents. Deeply guided by the principles of the Eden Alternative philosophy, you will promote the facility as the residents' home, support resident independence within the Eden philosophy, and work towards Eden goals by ensuring residents are involved in operational decision-making whenever possible. 

You will lead a diverse administrative and support team ensuring smooth execution across three key pillars: Programme and Volunteer Management, Employee Wellbeing and Administrative Support, and Care and Service Liaison 

In this role, you will:

Programme and Volunteer Management: 

  • Oversee the curation and design of meaningful, engaging programmes that directly combat boredom and loneliness.
  • Guide the team in driving effective volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and community partnerships. ○ Ensure residents are involved in co-creation, asserting choices and empowered in discussions for operational decisions. 

Employee Wellbeing and Administrative Support: 

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding/offboarding, dormitory hygiene and living conditions for stay-in care partners. ○ Lead the team in driving staff welfare initiatives and supporting training related administration
  • Drive and ensure seamless non-clinical administrative support for the nursing team.
  • Actively manage regulatory applications and compliance, acting as the primary lead for licensing audits and ensuring all statutory and licensing requirements are consistently met. 

Care and Service Liaison: 

  • Design and ensure a seamless resident admission and discharge experience.
  • Oversee moving-in and living-in for residents, including but not limited to admission referrals, pre-admission counseling, financial assistance processing, and management of bad debts, engaging residents on lifestyle preferences, suggestions or feedback.
  • Uphold Service Quality standards through feedback management, award submissions, conducting annual resident satisfaction surveys and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement.
  • Lead, coordinate, and execute projects designed to continuously enhance the quality of residential care and foster a vibrant, elder-directed community.

Qualification

You should: 

  • Have a Degree or Diploma in Healthcare Administration, Social Services, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrate proven leadership capabilities with a track record of managing diverse operational and administrative teams.
  • Have strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills to empower staff and support residents.
  • Be highly organised, with the ability to oversee multiple portfolios, from financial administration (bad debt management) to program design and regulatory submissions (e.g., MOH audits). 

It would be great if you:

  • Have prior experience in eldercare settings, case management, or healthcare administration.
  • Are familiar with the Eden Alternative philosophy, healthcare funding frameworks, financial assistance schemes, resident admission processes, and regulatory audits (e.g., MOH, SHQA, CCEA)
