Job Description
Role Summary:
NTUC Health is seeking a Senior Specialist, IT Infrastructure to lead the architecture, deployment, and day-to-day operations of our enterprise hybrid infrastructure. In this role, you will drive high availability, security, and performance across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), on-premises systems, virtualization layers, and core networking systems. You will also manage key vendors, champion automation, and mentor junior engineers to support NTUC Health’s digital initiatives.
You will need to:

Design, deploy, and maintain core on-premises systems, and cloud environments (GCP/AWS), ensuring high availability, performance and scalability.

Oversee network architecture (SD-WAN, Cisco/Juniper, Fortinet, Load Balancers, Cisco ISE, Wireless) and enforce robust security measures, including access controls, encryption aligned with Healthcare compliance standards.

Lead infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and system deployments. Drive automation and orchestration initiatives (IaC, containerization) to enhance agility.

Develop, test, and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) to ensure minimal business disruption.

Source and evaluate fit-for-purpose solutions. Manage vendors, system integrators, and service providers to ensure adherence to SLAs and performance benchmarks.

Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and mentoring junior team members.

Qualification
You should:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field,with 5+years of hands-on experience in enterprise hybrid infrastructure management.

Proven strong experience in cloud, server and network infrastructure design, deployment, and administration.

In-depth knowledge of SD-WAN, Cisco/Juniper switches/routers, Fortinet Firewalls, Load Balancers/Link Controllers, Cisco ISE, and enterprise wireless networks.

Solid track record in planning, implementing, and simulating DR/BCP frameworks.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure incident escalations and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Familiarity with virtualization, cloud computing, and containerization technologies.

Good knowledge in Nutanix, VMWare, Hypervisor, Containerization/Kubernetes technologies
Nice-to-Have:

Certifications: GCP Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CCNP/CCIE, MCSA/RHCE, or CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator).

Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).

Emerging Tech & AI Operations:Experience or interest in leveraging AI tools and frameworks (e.g., LLMs, Model Context Protocol, agentic workflows) to automate IT operations, incident triage, log analysis, or self-healing infrastructure etc.

Industry Experience: Familiarity with Healthcare IT environments, PDPA, MOH cybersecurity guidelines in Singapore.
