Job Description

You will undertake a variety of administrative and programme management tasks including coordinating and running of activities. You will also work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all programme related administration is conducted effectively and efficiently.

  • Supervise, guide, and assist in the training and development of befrienders
  • Contact clients and perform initial screening and assessment to identify the clients needs for befriending services
  • Perform matching for the befrienders and befriendees and conduct home visits along with befrienders
  • Responsible for scheduling time and date for the befriender's visit to client's house
  • Maintain proper records of the Visit Report Form collected from befrienders and take note of any special needs required by the clients
  • Share important or discuss critical observations with Programme Executive for continuous improvement

Job Requirements

  • Advanced Certificate in Community & Social Services or related discipline / GCE 'A' level with 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Possess passion and empathy in helping the elderly
  • Possess good interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with travelling around for work
