Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for preparing clinical area and dental room, handle, store sterile items, assist in all treatment procedures, and perform documentary and inventory controls.

  • Prepare the clinic area and dental room for serving patients
  • Perform appropriate disinfection of equipment and working surfaces
  • Handle and dispose biohazards and used materials
  • Sterilise instruments
  • Perform Dental Charting
  • Assist in all treatment procedures
  • Set up equipment and materials for dental x-rays
  • Cast impressions
  • Provide oral health education to patients
  • Provide post-operative care instructions to patient
  • Take extreme care in the handling of dental equipment and instrument
  • Handle incoming telephone calls and schedule patients appointments and recalls when required
  • File and retrieve patient’s record and documents
  • Perform inventory control
  • Perform and record maintenance of equipment
  • Perform inventory control on drugs dispensed
  • Keep premise clean, tidy and presentable at all times
  • Coordinate and work closely with Head Office in all matters
  • Perform any duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Minimal N Level
  • Good interpersonal, telephone and listening skills
  • Pleasant disposition, patient, empathetic, and diplomatic
  • Have aptitude to serve customer and meet their needs
  • Conversant in basic computer skills
