Job Description

The incumbent will help to promote and spearhead community outreach and service quality initiatives.  Spearhead, conceptualize and implement volunteer programmes to ensure the delivery of quality service for the residents of the nursing home

  • Promote awareness of existing programmes and services offered
  • Promote volunteering (internally and externally) through recruitment and publicity strategies and campaigns
  • Manage all elements of volunteering either within organization or on behalf of the organization for which we are recruiting volunteers
  • Correspond with internal and external stakeholders on programme and events.  Spearhead and roll out campaigns to build the service culture
  • Coordinate meetings and logistics for execution of projects and events
  • Manage relationship with existing supporters and handle enquiries from prospective and new supporters
  • Interviewing and recruiting volunteers and ensuring they are appropriately matched and trained for the position
  • Monitor, evaluate and accredit volunteers
  • Manage and provide appropriate responses to feedback received in a timely manner
  • Provide support in all aspects of service quality promotions and events
  • Update records and maintain database

Job Requirements

  • Degree or Advance Diploma in Social Work, Gerontology or Service Sector disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in community healthcare settings in Singapore
  • Hands-on experience in volunteerism and service quality work
  • Good knowledge of the geriatrics and community services
  • People-oriented, willing to work the ground and possess strong administration skills
