Job Description

The Business Development Manager for Unity Denticare is a member of the Unity Denticare Management Team under NTUC Health. He/She is responsible for identifying sales leads, pitch Denticare services to new corporate clients and maintain a good working relationship with both existing accounts. He/she is also responsible for working with corporate communications to establish our brand position through joint marketing efforts.

Account management

  • Locates or proposes potential corporate clients by contacting potential partners, discovering, and exploring opportunities.
  • Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
  • Planning and preparing presentations
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
  • Design, compile, and report corporate client statistics and indicators
  • Support process documentation and improvements
  • Providing management with feedback
  • Participating in quality improvement projects


  • Work with corporate communications to establish a marketing strategy to increase sales
  • Develop suitable marketing materials
  • Budget, plan and execute marketing campaigns
  • Critically assess outcomes of campaigns as part of a continuous improvement strategy

Data Analytics and Continuous improvement

  • Analyze customer, sales, feedback and other relevant data to produce insights for senior management and refine the business strategy
  • Support the Senior Manager in new systems development and internal improvement projects

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in any Discipline
  • Dental operations or other relevant healthcare experience will be an advantage
  • Self-driven individual with much self-confidence
  • Love networking
  • Enjoy presenting and public speaking
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Good business sense
  • A deep understanding of marketing principles
  • Negotiation skills
  • Willing to travel to clinics as part of work. May occasionally be required to work on weekends
