Job Description

You are responsible to lead and mentor the nursing team. Ensure practices are in compliance with standards stipulated by Ministry of Health (MOH) and Singapore Nursing Board (SNB). Drive “Person Centred Care” approach when delivering high quality nursing care through care management, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care to meet the needs of the clients, including educating client and their family members.

You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice through regular review of processes and engage the nursing team in training and development with the aim to provide comprehensive, integrated and cost-effective care.

  • Use advance clinical skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate client care activities to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing care
  • Provide planning and administrative support to Head, Day Care/Senior Nurse Manager
  • Provide nursing leadership, clinical supervision for the centre and administer medication and wound dressing when required 
  • Lead recruitment selection and allocation of manpower resources
  • Monitor, assess and evaluate clients’ condition to implement a care plan for the client
  • Oversee and manage the performance of the nursing team to ensure the desired level of work competency is achieved
  • Coordinate, implement and monitor clinical and service quality performance indicators for continuous improvement
  • Responsible for assessing client care activities to ensure delivery of compassionate, personalized and quality nursing care to the client
  • Maintain high degree of confidentiality and discretion in matters involving client care
  • Assist in daily operations and ad-hoc projects as assigned
  • Assist to collect and maintain statistical information needed for ad-hoc and regular reports
  • Participate and ensure that practices are in compliance to ISO/MOH audits for the centre

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
  • Minimum 5-8 years’ relevant experience, preferably with MOH or other  healthcare related organization or government agencies
  • Independent and self-motivated with strong ability to multi-task
  • Enjoys team work in a community setting and hands-on experiences
