Job Description

The purpose of the Mobile Dental Clinics (MDCs) is to provide basic dental services to community partners such as nursing homes, senior activity centres, and community centres.

The role of the Programme Coordinator (MDC) is to undertake a variety of administrative and programme management tasks related to the MDC. He/she will help in planning and organizing programmes and activities as well as carry out important operational duties.

The Programme Coordinator (MDC) must be organized and detail-oriented, comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds, and enjoy a physically active job setting.

  • Plan and coordinate the MDCs and its activities, such as registering patients, billing patients, and submitting government claims for simple treatments.
  • Set-up and troubleshoot the MDC operations and its components.
  • Assist with administrative work concerning the MDC, which includes record keeping, and producing simple reports.
  • Prepare paperwork and order consumables for the MDC
  • Schedule meetings, conduct site recces, and manage client’s expectations for MDC deployment.
  • Assist with basic dental assisting
  • Assist with ad-hoc non-MDC administrative work during lull periods.

Job Requirements

  • Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant experience an advantage
