Job Description

Key responsibility:

To support and execute the volunteer & partnership engagement strategy and annual workplans for the Senior Cluster Network (SACs & Community Befriender Program, Cluster Support & CAN program, Henderson Home Home, Active Aging Hubs) other Business Units such as Day care, home care and residential care in order to meet service needs in the community.



  1. Consolidate volunteer database for all BUs to support annual awards and recognition
  2. Assist in organising the annual volunteer awards event, and any other volunteer related activities as may be required.
  3. Assist in projects, eg.:
  • NCSS’ Kitchen programme: Logistics, scheduling, recruitment & community outreach
  • Ad-hoc events: opening ceremonies
  1. Engage and maintain a collegial networking relationship with local grassroots’ organisations, corporations, health and educational institutions to develop collaborative volunteer projects
  2. Maintain training database of all the BUs’ volunteers
  3. Admin & logistics support for volunteers (eg. Volunteer cards, T-shirts, etc)
  4. Support the annual volunteer engagement goals and targets
  5. Maintain a high standard of integrity, corporate governance and timely management and KPI reporting
  6. Support the engagement of stakeholders in each operating unit to:
  • Explore current and potential resources to support the service needs
  • Understand the KPIs that need to be complied with for each funded volunteer program and develop strategies to support the KPIs
  1. Contribute to the strategies and plans for the recruitment, retention and recognition of volunteers
  2. Assist in the screening, basic training of the handbook, mentoring/coaching schemes to guide new volunteers to empower them to be committed and enhance their voluntary experience with NTUC Health to be meaningful and gratifying

Job Requirements

  • Minimally a Diploma in Mass Communication or Marketing
  • Ability to speak English, Mandarin and dialect will be an added advantage
  • Possess 2-3 working experience in customer service, volunteer management or community support
  • Strong interpersonal and communicative skills
  • Well-versed in MS Office
